Tarot Reading in Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater: In-Person or Online
Comparing in-person and online tarot readings in Tampa Bay, with a checklist for choosing a reader, red flags to watch for and what a reading with me costs.

In-person and online tarot each have a place. An in-person reading lets you sit across from the reader and ask follow-up questions in the room. An online reading, such as mine, works from a photo, your date of birth and your consent, so you do not need to travel. I am based in Maryland now and moving to the Tampa Bay area. I work remotely with clients across the US, so a reading works the same way wherever you live in Tampa, St. Petersburg or Clearwater.
In-person or online tarot in Tampa Bay: the short answer
Neither format is automatically more genuine. What matters is whether the reader is clear about price, method and limits. An in-person reading gives you a face-to-face conversation. An online reading gives you a written answer you can read again, with no travel and no fixed meeting time.
What happens in an online Tarot and pendulum reading
You start by sending a photo, your date of birth and your consent. I use Tarot and a pendulum, and within 48 hours I reply with what I see, where it seems to come from and how many sessions you would actually need.
Before you send anything, check that you are an adult, that the reading is for you and that you are ready to receive a written answer. The energy reading page describes the full process.
In-person vs. online: the trade-offs
- In person: You can see how the reader works and ask questions in the room. You need to travel and fit a set appointment. Clarity depends on the reader explaining the work face to face, so take notes.
- Online: There is no travel, and the answer is written, so you can read it more than once and share it with someone you trust. You do not meet the reader in person, so clarity has to come from the written terms and from how the reader answers your questions.
- Either way: Price, method and limits should be stated before you pay.
Preparing for a reading
Four small steps make the answer more useful:
- Write one or two sentences about the question you want to understand. Leave out other people's private choices, since a reading cannot tell you what they will decide.
- Gather what the reader asks for. For an online reading, that means a clear photo and your date of birth.
- Decide how much time you have to think about the answer, and plan a quiet moment to read it.
- Keep a notebook close by, so you can record what stays with you after the reading.
How to choose a tarot reader in Tampa, St. Pete or Clearwater
Use this checklist, whether you choose someone local or someone online:
- The price is published before you book, and it is confirmed in writing.
- The reader describes what a reading looks at, in plain language.
- The reader says plainly when no further work is needed.
- You are not pushed to buy on the spot.
- The reader states an age limit, asks for consent and explains how your details are kept private.
- The reader respects other faiths and traditions and does not claim religious authority.
- You can ask the reader to explain the method again in plain words before you decide anything.
Each point protects you from a common problem. Clear prices stop surprises at the end of a call. A plain description of the method lets you compare readers fairly. Clear limits keep you from buying more than you need. A stated age limit and a clear privacy practice protect everyone involved, including you.
Red flags: curse scares, open-ended upsells and promises about other people
Some warning signs are the same in any city:
- Warnings of a hex or curse that must be lifted today, followed by a demand for payment.
- Open-ended upsells that never stop.
- Promises to change another person's feelings or will. I do not work on another person's will, and I would not recommend a reader who offers it.
- Promises of fixed outcomes in love or money.
- Pressure to pay before you have read the written terms.
- Readings for anyone under 18.
Tarot is sometimes sold as entertainment. My readings are a spiritual practice for adults aged 18 and over. They are not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice, and I say so in my answers.
What a reading with me costs and how to book
A full reading costs $200. New clients pay $140 for the first reading through the quiz on this site, which is 30% off. A one-question reading costs $100 and suits a single clear point. Prices are in US dollars, and you see the total before you pay. You can start from any page of the site by opening the quiz, and it will guide you to the right reading before you send anything.
FAQ
Can I ask questions before I pay?
Yes. The first short conversation in messages is free. Work already carried out is not refunded, so ask everything you need to know before a reading begins.
Can I reschedule or cancel a session?
Yes. A session can be rescheduled or cancelled for free up to 24 hours before it starts.
Do you read for clients in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater?
Yes. The reading is remote, so where you live does not change how the work is done. It works from a photo and your date of birth, so you do not need to visit me.
